When I was in High School, I dreamed of taking over Suze Orman’s job when I was older. I even considered trying to get an internship with her, but never pursued it as I learned quickly that I would never make a good intern (as I do not like having anyone tell me what to do). I watched Suze’s show every Saturday night for the entire decade that she was on air. I even purchased everything she ever sold and eventually became the ‘go-to’ for anything money related within my circle of friends and family.
While slaving away (literally) in Corporate America, I began to connect my college coursework to how things worked in real life and came to the realization that our entire economy was set up for the wealthy to become wealthier and the poor to either stay poor or become poorer… This entire blog is designed to explain how, why, and what you can do to protect yourself. I am a graduate of the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College (CUNY). I earned a BBA in Finance in May of 2009. I am a CPA candidate in the state of New York currently in the process completing the CPA exams. I have over 10 years of experience in corporate finance and have been successfully running a small business on the side for 7 years.
